TBR September + Wrap-up August

A new month, a new TBR and a new wrap up!

I read way more than I expected too in August! I ended up reading 6 books, and a total of 2769 pages!

The first book I read this month, was A Court of Thorns and Roses. This was a re-read for me. I read it first time when it came out, and wasn’t a big fan. With my re-read, it felt like I read things I didn’t read before. So I ended up liking is way more the second time around. I gave is 4 stars.

After finishing ACOTAR, I immediately started in A Court of Mist and Fury. I have to admit I wasn’t a big fan of ~certain~ things in the book. But it did contain some awesome quotes. But because I think the things I disliked weight heavier than the positive things in this book, so I ended up giving it 3 stars.

Because I wasn’t a big van of ACOMAF, I postponed reading the last book. So I started my next read, Daughter of the Pirate King. I was very excited for this book, because it sounded so awesome! But I started disliking the main character rather quickly. She was super arrogant, which I HATE. So nope, I wasn’t a fan and gave it 2 stars.

Then I started Incognito from Khaled Talib. I received his book as a review copy, and I really enjoyed it! My review went up last Tuesday, but here is the link in case you missed it! I ended up giving his novel 4 stars.

I got the best bookmarks from Ink & Wonder Designs. I was so happy they arrived. One of the bookmarks had a quote from ACOMAF, so I started reading A Court of Wings and Ruin with that bookmark. And I LOVED it! I never expecting to love it so much! It was my best read of August, and gave it 5 stars.

And, last but not least: I read Survive the Night. I have been hyped for this book since the day it came out (this was two years ago) AND I FINALLY GOT IT. So yeah, I was super excited to start with it. The book was definitely different than I expected it to be, but I liked it nevertheless. I gave it 4 stars.

TBR September

Yay a new month means a new TBR! I keep getting better with keeping up with my TBR, which is super! This month I am only planning on reading two physical books:

  • Dead Silent by Sharon Jones
  • Say her Name by James Dawson

I picked these books, because I am in the Halloween mood already! I am also planning on making an Instagram challenge for October! (I already made it, I was so hyped)

Anyway, those aren’t the only books I am planning on reading, I also have three e-books I am planning on reading:

  • Melody’s Key by Dallas Coryell
  • Across the Darkling Sea by K. Ferrin
  • The Siren Chronicles by Douglas J. Sloan

Did you read any of the books I am planning on reading? Let me know! And what is your TBR for this month?
