Paper Princess – Erin Watt

 “These Royals will ruin you.”

From strip clubs and trick stops to southern coast mansions and prep school, one girl tries to stay true to herself. Meet Ella Harper.

Ella is a survivor – a pragmatic optimist. Her whole life mostly involved moving from town to town with her mother. They struggled to make ends meet, but Ella believes she’ll climb out of the gutter someday. When her mom dies, Ella is alone, truly alone.
Until Callum Royal appears, and Ella sees things she could only dream of. She gets tossed into his posh mansion that contains five Royal sons, who all seem to hate her from the moment she steps in the house.
Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but Reed Royal is the most captivating. But he seems determined to send her back to the slums she came from. Reed doesn’t want her, and neither do the other Royal boys.

This world of them, filled with wealth excess and deception is nothing like Ella ever experienced. And if she wants to survive her time in the Royal Palace, she’ll need to learn to issue her own Royal decrees.

When I heard that this book actually falls into the New Adult category, instead of the Young Adult one, I was kinda shocked? I heard of the books, but always thought they were YA! But it also made me super curious. Thanks to a friend of mine, I finally decided to pick this book up, and man, it was addictive! It was even more addictive than the Selection series for me!
Ella is a character that just feels so relatable, and you’ll be cheering for her throughout the whole book!

“Those Royals will ruin you too.”

Believe me, that quote is so true! The Royals will even ruin us, the readers! I really enjoyed this book and all of its characters. It is the type of book where you can shut off your brain, and just relax and read!I’m pretty sure this is also a series worth of binge-reading. Because you’ll fly through this book, it is a hard one to put down!

Keep in mind that this book does contain some sexual scenes!

I ended up rating this book 4,5 out of 5 stars,
