TBR March and Wrap-Up February

It is March already?? Time flies if you think about it, it is ridiculous! I mean, I’m also turning 20 next month?? That is still blowing my mind. I’m getting 20. Even thinking about it makes me feel old.

Wrap-up February

February was a great reading month! I read a total of 3787 pages! And to think that I wasn’t really feeling reading books at the beginning of the month!

The first book I read was Een Canvas vol Liefde, which was a Dutch review book. I ended up giving it 4 stars, but won’t go in depth about my opinion (since it is a Dutch book).

The second book I read was An Enchantment of Ravens. I really enjoyed this book! It was different than what I thought it would be, but I ended up loving it! Especially since it is so different from the ACOTAR series (not a big fan sorry). So for those of you who weren’t huge fans of ACOTAR, I highly recommend you this one! I ended up giving it 4,5 out of 5 stars!

Next up is Reign of the Fallen, a book that is probably my most anticipated releases of 2018? So yeah, super hyped for it, and I started it with high hopes. But the book was very different than I expected it to be. I thought it would be more badass, with zombies and stuff. More Walking Dead-ish I guess. But it wasn’t. Luckily, I ended up loving it nevertheless. I gave it 5 stars, and my review will be up this month!

My fourth book was a re-read, of Illuminae! I had to re-read it for Gemina (which releases on the 12th!) So yeah, I cried again. And of course my re-read ended up with me giving it 5 stars once again!

Then I did not know which book to pick up next. It felt like some sort of slump, because I didn’t feel like reading any book. I decided to go back to one of the first YA series I ever read: Fallen. I read Fallen and Torment last year, and I wanted to finish the series. So I read Passion. And it threw me back! And all those feelings! I LOVED it, and gave Passion 4 stars!

Of course I had to continue the series and I started Fallen in Love. It was a nice novella, not super great, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Some short stories were so adorable! So I had to give it 4 stars.

Next up was Rapture, the story that wrapped up the story of Luce and Daniel. And I loved it! Gosh the throwbacks once again! I had to give it 5 stars, because I loved it so much! And finally I understood everything. I never did understand it when I read it in Dutch. Stuff was so confusing.

And then the book I never read before; Unforgiven. This story follows Cam, who was probably the first bad boy I fell in love with. I felt so sad when closing this book. Fallen is officially finished. I mean. My youth?? Gosh. I had to give it one 5 stars.

Then I wanted to read a book that has been on my shelf for ages! I ended up picking Me, Earl and the Dying Girl. And it was such a funny book! Very different than I expected it to be, but I liked it nevertheless! I ended up giving it 4 stars.

The last book I read this month was The Hate U Give, a book I read while on holiday. I had high hopes for this one! And I was expecting many things. Yet it didn’t live up for the expectations for me, which sucked I have to say. It was an okay book, but I felt like it could’ve been so much more. I gave it 3 stars.

TBR March

So far, I only have two books on my TBR for March. Gemina and Obsidio by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. Gemina will be a re-read. And Obsidio. I’m so freaking hyped! I Maybe I’ll read some other anticipated releases of this month (Inkmistress probably).

Do you have any recommendations for me this month? Because currently I have no idea what to read 😦

What have you read in February? And what are you planning on reading in March?
